Amazing Location: King Murphy Retreats is on 22 acres outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The Retreat also has a Medicine Wheel Garden Based on Native American and Peruvian Traditions, a chakra meditation trail, a large cut flower garden, 33 bee hives, and a crystal/mineral shop, King Murphy’s Stones, which also sells honey, jellies, jams, pickles, and other seasonal fare.

Sacred Artistry: Mary Magdelene artist Mary Henlin will help you awaken your creative spirit and express the divine within you through guided rosary making.

Feminine Plant Medicine: Molly Gibson is a certified Somatic Plant Medicine Integration Coach and pediatric End-of-Life Doula. She’s bringing her incredible experience to help us incorporate plant medicine into the sacred feminine. Engage in this non-hallucinogenic journey for transformative healing and expansion, guiding you into heightened awareness and presence.

Sacred Altars: Experience the power of an altar designed to expand your nervous system’s capacity and foster a deeper connection to the divine. Emergency room nurse Sahra Henlin will unite science and spirituality in her special way to help you design altars for your home and travel! She’ll teach you how to use elements as a gateway to spiritual transformation and renewal. (Don’t forget there’s a crystal shop on site!!)

MEET OUR PRACTITIONERS
John Murphy
After 23 years in the music industry as a fashion Stylist John Murphy, and his Real Estate agentpartner Dennis King sold their house on Music Row and bought an 1850’s plantation farmhouse and 17 acres and changed the trajectory of their lives. Since buying the property in 2020 they’ve added the adjacent properties and renovated them both to be used for event and retreat space. In addition to doing individual energy work sessions and hosting Meditation and Sound Bath Retreats, they have started booking other events. From Commitment Ceremonies, Weddings and Celebrations of Life, to Farm to Table Dinner Parties, or Bridal and Baby Showers. King Murphy’s Retreat is looking to provide you with and intimate location for your smaller gatherings. Whether 10 guests or 100, each individual will feel the love, empathy and compassion that goes into every detail.
Mary Henlin​

Mary Henlin is the artist and Creatrix behind PortlandMary. She has spent many years studying and working with the divine mother and dark goddesses, making statues, rosaries and objects of devotion for them.
Melanie Weller
What does it mean to be made in the image of God? And what if you could treat that image to answer prayers and find Heaven right here on Earth? Melanie Weller brings over 30 years of experience in physical therapy and athletic training with neuroscience, cosmology, and astrology to show you how you are our spiritual texts that hold our deepest truths live in our bodies.
Sahra Henlin
​
Sahra Henlin is a modern day alchemist, with one foot deep in the sciences and the other in the realm of the spiritual. An Emergency Department nurse working throughout the American Southwest since 2007. A student of ancient writing systems, pictograms, hieroglyphs and symbols she decodes Babylonian boundary stones for fun. She has devoted herself to the search and rescue of the divine feminine and her mysteries.
Molly Gibson

Molly was born and raised in Arizona and moved to TN with her southern-born-husband and 4 boys in 2019. Although they deeply loved the medicine-filled desert of the southwest, they are now at home in the south and thoroughly enjoying four seasons!
Molly has always felt a deep connection to Mother Earth and all the medicine she carries. Her primary plant teachers have been the medicines of Rose, Pine, Cacao, Mugwort—as well as Ayahuasca and San Pedro Cactus. She has studied plant-medicine integration intently for about seven years with a focus on spiritual integration for terminal patients. Molly is a certified Somatic, Plant-Medicine Integration Coach, and has found her passion as an End-of-Life Doula. Since 2022 she has been working with pediatric end-of-life patients and their families with a focus on the healing and transformational power of grief.
Molly is a certified Usui Ryoho Reiki III master teacher and studied Grief Ritual Training through Francis Weller’s Wisdom Bridge and Stephen Jenkinson’s Orphan Wisdom School.
